Synching I-pad 1PW with Mac 1PW4 question ?

What you propose isn't recommended, but I don't really know how the situation will be handled. I do know that if the applications can't determine which version is the most recent, it will record both as exceptions when you sync. You may have to sort out manually which data you want to retain.
If you use Dropbox or iCloud for syncing, that happens automatically whenever a change is made, so in most circumstances, your new data from one platform will already be propagated to all the others before you can change data on a different one. Remember that your security is determined solely by your choice of a string master password, whether you use a cloud soliton or not.

Hi @CAWwindy1,
As @hawkmoth says, we'll need a bit more information on your situation to get a better idea of what's going on here.
If you are using an automatic sync solution like Dropbox or iCloud, any changes you make will be synced without you having to do anything.
If you are using a manual sync solution like Wi-Fi, you will need to make a sync whenever you change data on one device. It is not necessarily a good idea though, to make changes on multiple devices before making a sync. If you make changes to the same entry on multiple devices, 1Password might have trouble determining which changes should get priority and you may end up with conflict fields within the entry. I would suggest making all changes on one device and then performing the sync.
I hope this helps to explain sync a bit better, but if you have any further questions, please do let us know - we're here to help!
