re-installing 1Password

After Apple Care wiped my disk clean and rebuilt my system from Time Machine, I downloaded 1Password from your site, agilebits.com. After installation, it did not recognize my master password and WORSE, could not find my 1Password data, i.e., my user names and passwords for all my sites! HELP!

    From one of their knowledge base documents

    The AgileBits store version of 1Password 4 stores its data in a different location from the Mac App Store version.

    AgileBits store version:
    ~/Library/Application Support/1Password 4

    Mac App Store version:
    ~/Library/Containers/2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper

    You'll need to find your files before 1Password will be able to recognise your master password as that password is only about unlocking your vault.

    Hi @bruce02111‌,

    As @littlebobbytables‌ hinted at, did you originally purchase from the Mac App Store? To check, open the Mac App Store, and click Purchased and see if 1Password is listed there.
