cleaning up duplicate files in agilekeychain

When I open the 1Pasword.agilekeychain package in dropbox I have one 1Password.html file and eight other similar ones, e.g. 1Password (1).html, 1Password (2).html etc. going up to 1Password (8).html. Can I safely delete these eight other, seemingly, superfluous files? They are each about 315MB in size. My second question is why are none of them showing today's date? I just went through a long session of updating old passwords and would expect the package file to reflect changes made. Of the nine total files the most recent is 3 months old. Is something not working correctly?

    Hi GD,

The 1Password.html file contains the code for 1PasswordAnywhere, which is static (unless we release an update). None of your data is actually stored there.

There was an issue in a previous version of 1Password that caused those duplicate 11Password.html` files to be created in some cases, so feel free to delete them. :)

Please let us know if you have any other questions. We're always happy to help!

Is it useful to use duplicate file finder to keep our pc clean and fast..?

  • Hi @azmrkt‌

We don't normally comment on 3rd party utilities unless in direct relation to 1Password.

My personal opinion? No, I wouldn't run it.
