1Passsword won't allow two different GoDaddy logins [Resolved]

I have two email addresses, both using DoDaddy. I'm trying to set up access for both of these via the web on the iPhone.

I set up the first one. Within 1Password I can access the GoDaddy webmail login page and it logs me in with no problem.

I then set up the second email. Trouble is, 1Password keeps trying to log me in with the first email address (but the password of the second one). The second email setup on 1Password has the correct second email address, but when I hit the "website" link it autofills in the first email every time. How can I get it to fill the second email address?

  • Hi @RRockley,

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble.

Does 1Password actually fill the incorrect email address, or is the wrong email address already pre-filled on the webpage (by GoDaddy)?

Also, could you please share the URL of this login page?

Thanks in advance for the additional info!

It looks like 1Password fills in the wrong address.

This is the login page: https://login.secureserver.net/index.php?app=wbe&domain=email.rockley.us

    (rockley.us is the email domain.)

But the url saved by 1Password is:

    https://login.secureserver.net/index.php?app=wbe&logout=1&onepasswdfill=2ABEEE19D3D94916ABAD21F8CD43DDBC

When I do this from my Mac it works correctly for each separate email. It's just the iPhone that seems to be stuck on the other email. Quite a headscratcher.

Actually, after one more try I saw a key (on the Godaddy site) that said "clear login list" I cleared that and now it works.

The trouble is, on the iPhone the writing was so small I didn't see it. Obviously the previously used login (ie the other email) is not cleared for some reason. It must clear automatically on the mac and the PC. Looks like I have found a work around - thanks for your reply and offer of help. You forced em to try it just one more time... ;-)
