Hi @breatleb
I've merged your post with an existing discussion on Wi-Fi sync. Please take a look at my post #24 above for some of the first troubleshooting steps to try. If none of these work, please let us know the exact version numbers of both 1Password and your operating systems for all computers and devices currently running 1Password. This will help us track things down more efficiently.

HI guys,
Rebooting makes sense, it restart the network services that seems to be unstable on iOS 8 and also Yosemite. We're tracking several bugs with the network services and have filed bug reports with Apple. Things should be improved over time as the services get fixed and improved in future iOS and OS X updates.

Hi, I bought a windows license today and tried to sync the data from PC to iPhone and my iPad. Neither of the them gets synced over wifi even after re-boots. I get the same error as mentioned earlier in the posts. Any pointers ?

@zedd45 Glad the ad hoc network worked! That typically would tell me your router needs some some of tweak for the Bonjour connection to establish between the two devices. The ad hoc connection cuts out the middle man (the router) so to speak.
If your router is dual-band and creates two networks (2.4GHz and 5GHz) make sure both devices are connected to the same network. Also make sure that localhost (or 127.0.0.1 as it is technically named) is not being blocked or filtered by a firewall on the router.
Hopefully one of those can sort that out so you don't need to always establish an ad hoc connection. Routers can be rather fiddly things at times.
