I have OSX 10.9.2 on my iMac and 1 password 4, latest version. I use the iMac as my main computer and have
recently bought the iPad Air and loaded 1 Password 4 on it. I am syncing using iCloud and all info is syncing except logins.
I have shut off syncing on both devices, powered them down and started over, but still no logins on iPad.
Any ideas? Thanks

  • Hi @dmcguire‌,

That is incredibly odd, as there isn't a way to exclude a category from sync.

I assume the Mac has all the data, and the iPad is the fresh install having troubles, correct?

If so, I recommend the following:

    On iPad.

    • Open 1Password, and tap Settings > Advanced > Erase Data. The app will close.

    On Mac.

    • On the Mac, open 1Password 4 for Mac, and click the 1Password menu, then Preferences. Click Sync, and click Change syncing.
    • Check the box to remove the data from iCloud and confirm that you want to disable sync.

    • Restart the Mac and iOS devices.

    • On the Mac, go back to the Sync preferences, and enable iCloud.

    • Wait about 20 minutes to give iCloud time to run the initial sync to all devices.

    On Mac.

    • Relaunch 1Password, tap that you have used 1Password before, then tap Sync with iCloud.

That should get things moving in the right direction.

Hi Chris - followed your steps - still nothing - I did notice in iCloud setting on mac that it show 1 Password mini -
    could that be the issue?

  • Hi @dmcguire‌,

No, that should not be the issue at all. Just to check, because it has been causing a lot of issues for folks (not just with 1Password), have you ever used either the beta of iOS 8 or the beta of OS X Yosemite and activated iCloud Drive on either of those betas?

No I haven't - should i try uninstalling 1 Password on the iPad and start over - and yes, all info
    is on iMac

  • Yes, it's worth a try to uninstall and reinstall at this point.

Nope, iCloud sync is not working. And all the garbage "advice" is driving me crazy. Rebooting and restarting and trying to use dropbox instead is not working either.

Hi chrisdj - I think I've resolved this issue - Logins aren't shown under Website banner, but there is a website listed below user name & password.
Is this how it works on IOS devices vs on the Mac? thanks

    Hi @dmcguire‌,

I'm so sorry that this has been a bit of a frustrating process for you. Could you please clarify what you mean by 'Website banner'?
