1Password for Mac and IOS 8 and iCloud sync
As I have read the FAQ and other information, this is how I understand this.
I updated my iPhone 4s to IOS8 and then updated the apps. 1Password was one of the updates. Afterwards 1 Password would not sync with my existing cloud vault with out enabling iCloud Drive. I see in the FAQ's this is required. I read many places that if I update to iCloud Drive I will not have access from my IMAC to my cloud files after enabling iCloud drive.
It does not appear that I can sync my iMac to my phone and tablet until Yosemite comes out?
true?

Not one of Apple's cleverer moves to be honest, punishing not just those that want to try out iOS 8 but all early adopters of the iPhone 6 too.

Remember you can sync via Dropbox. That works fine until Yosemite comes out and you can then switch back to iCloud (Drive).

Hi guys,

That is correct and you'll need to use 1Password at the App Store, not the website. We'll release more details (more than the ones in FAQs) as we get closer to Yosemite.

Technically, as long as you don't upgrade to use iCloud Drive, you would've been fine as long as apps didn't switch over to CloudKit/iCloud Drive either. The whole thing could've been communicated better from both sides. Hopefully, Yosemite will be released soon.
For now, as hawkmoth mentioned, you can use either Dropbox or Wi-Fi.

1 pssword 5 on iOS won't sync with 1 password 4 on my mac via wifi. The iOS app doesn't recognize my computer (and yes, they are on the same wifi network). Arg!!
