Upgrading to 1Password 4 with 1Password 5 on its way

Hi, I'm running a fully licensed version 3.8.22. It is now suggesting to upgrade to v4, but I also see version 5 mentioned. If I upgrade to v4, will I have to pay again for the upgrade to v5?
V3.8.22 is working well enough for me, so I'm not sure whether to upgrade.

    Glad to hear you've been satisfied using 1Password 3.8.22! Which version of OS X do you have it running on?

    Active development of version 3 stopped in 2012, with only a few minor updates since then, as can be seen in the 1Password 3 for Mac Release Notes. It's uncertain whether it will be updated again, e.g. once Yosemite is released.

    But one thing that is certain: if you choose to upgrade to version 4 now, enjoying your 50% discount as an existing user, you will get a free upgrade to the next version. :)

    Plus you'll be future-proof with 1Password for a lot longer by upgrading to version 4 instead of sticking with version 3.
