when I log into a new site and have to create a password, how do I get 1password to generate it?

    Unfortunately there's no direct integration with the browser, so you need to open the 1Password app, create a new login item and next to the Password field is a Key icon. Tap this to open the password generator. You can then copy the generated password and switch back to the browser to paste it.
