1password app on my iphone 5s with with new ios8 added--will not open

I updated my iphone with ios 8, added 1 password, adn was following along with the user guide. I had added all my passwords and just got up to get my credit card info. When I came back, 1password had locked me out and has not opened again since (days ago). What can I do? There is no keyboard option showing, and it is not reading my fingerprint. Any suggestions?

Have you tried to force quit 1Password and then re-open it?

Did Stephen's suggestion help? If not, a reboot might help as well.
