mac pro 10.7, iPad 7 and syncing via iCloud [suggestion: use Dropbox syncing]

If I am unable to upgrade to Mavericks on my Mac Pro, am I unable to sync with iCloud on my iPad?

    Hi Joan!

    If you are unable to upgrade to OS X 10.10 Yosemite you will not be able to sync via iCloud with iOS 8. Dropbox would still be an option.
