Odd filling and submitting behavior using firefox

I got into clearing up a long list of password duplicates and all was going pretty well through the first dozen or so. The workflow was to use the duplicates list, select a site to update, opt cmd return to open the login page, fill and submit to get logged in. I am set up to use Firefox 32.0.3. At some point I noticed that the submit failed and it instantly resubmitted, and again and again... until I was locked out of the login. I shut down Firefox and noticed on reopening that I was being asked to reset firefox. This I did. Restarted the computer, reinstalled the addons and other missing things. I went back to the site that I had the trouble on, MacRumors, and the problem repeated with the resubmits.
I am sure that I need to notice more things but this is pretty much what I am aware of right now. Next I plan to try another site or two.

    I'm sorry to hear that you've been having trouble with the Firefox extension. That is odd. I've just done some testing here with my own MacRumours account, and everything seems to be behaving fine here. Since you've already tried re-installing the Firefox extension, let's take a closer look at your system.

    I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your Mac:

    Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support@agilebits.com
