cannot update from 1P3 to 1P4

Hi,
I bought 1P3 from the agilebits website directly and not from the MAS. Now the update to 1P4 fails. Any tips what to do?

In order to get this sorted out, I'll need to know a little bit more about your 1Password ecosystem:
- What are the version numbers of 1Password and your operating system for all computers and devices running 1Password?
- Where are you currently storing your data? (Are you syncing with Dropbox or iCloud for example)
Please note that the update from 1Password 3 for Mac to 1Password 4 for Mac is not an automatic update - you will need to purchase a new license for 1Password 4 for Mac, either directly from our store (enter your existing license information on our upgrade page to get a discount!) or from the Mac App Store.
The more detail you can provide, the more quickly we'll be able to get you sorted out! :)
