Pro-Version In-App-Buying Error

After I click on the icon, I'll be asked for my apple-id-password. I fill it in and click on OK. Than I got the error-message "Apple-ID not found or password incorrect. Please try again". The apple-id exists an the password is correct. What's the problem and how can I buy the Pro-Version?

    Hi @diddi68‌

I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble purchasing the Pro features in 1Password. Unfortunately, Apple doesn't give us a lot of control over what happens with respect to purchases in the App Store. (In fact, they give us exactly no control.) So, this sounds like something you'll need to discuss with Apple.

The best thing I can suggest is to re-enter your AppleID and ensure that you are typing your password correctly. (I've got a few different AppleIDs on the go, and I've occasionally used my iCloud password for my iTunes AppleID.)

I hope you're able to get this sorted out soon!

I discussed with apple. They mean, the bug is in the app (e.g. there is a routing error). The Apple-ID is working with my known password (I tried it for another purchase)

  • Hi @diddi68‌

Could you please forward your conversation with Apple to us at support+forum@agilebits.com and include both a link to this thread ( https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/29339/pro-version-in-app-buying-error#latest ) and your forum username (diddi68)?

    Thanks.

    Ben

    Hi @diddi68‌,

Ok, let's try this. Version 5.1 has added some extra logs for In-App Purchases that should make it easier to track down where things are getting tangled up here.

Please go to: Settings - Advanced - troubleshooting - Log settings - and enable the In-App Purchase log

Try to make the Pro features purchase again. If it fails, send us a Diagnostics Report:

I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your iOS device:
    https://guides.agilebits.com/kb/1password4/en/topic/diagnostics-report#ios4

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@agilebits.com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

A short note here once you've sent the Report in will help us to keep an eye out for it. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!

I have the very same issue, has this been fixed and if so what do i do to fix mine.

  • Good morning @johnwhampton‌. Feel free to follow @Megan's instructions above and send a diagnostic report so we can take a look at what 1Password is doing under the hood. Thanks!

I tried it with Apple, but no success. Than I deleted some Apps and it works. I'm sorry, but I don't know, witch App caused the problem.

  • Thanks for the update @diddi68‌.
