primary vault stopped dropbox syncing, created new vault that syncs fine but...

i don't need 2 vault.
how can i make my 'secondary' vault the default vault (every time i open 1p it goes straight to 'primary')?
i would like to delete 'primary' so that 'secondary' becomes the new 'primary'.
help!

    I have a few questions for you first, and then we can provide some specific instructions for you to get this sorted out:

    • Does your Primary vault currently contain any data that you need?
    • Are all the contents of your secondary vault (the one you want to keep) also present on another device (such as Mac)?

    I have the same issue as TS. Primary vault contains data (does not sync)...however it is outdated. Secondary vault contains up-to-date data which syncs with Dropbox...

    Hi Rob ( @robv ),

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble here. The simplest solution here is to get all of the data into your primary vault, and then simply remove the unnecessary secondary vault.

    Since it is not currently possible to add secondary vaults via the iOS app, I'm assuming you have 1Password on your Mac as well, but just to clarify, please let me know the version numbers of 1Password and your operating system for all computers and devices running 1Password.

    I am curious though as to why your primary vault isn't syncing. Take a look in 1Password's sync preferences - is everything set up there as it should be?

    it contains some duplicates so I can just delete all and make 'secondary' become my 'primary' vault.

    yes! all on my mac.

    Hi Megan,

    Not sure why I have two vaults now. I noticed by accident that I have an extra vault now. It seems that the primary vault on iOS devices is just an older out-dated version of my current (secondary) vault.

    1Password on my Macbook is up-to-date (syncing to Dropbox).

    MacBook is running OSX 10.9.5 and 1Password version 4.4.2 (442010)
    iOS devices (iPad and iPhone) are running version 8.0.2 and 1Password version 5.1

    What would be the best/safest way to clear the primary vault on iOS devices and get the contents of the secondary vault to the primary vault?!

    Hi folks,

    The only way currently to resolve this would be to remove the iOS app from your device (after insuring you have proper backups) and reinstall it, setting the vault that is currently your secondary as the first vault.
