Beta fails to open; release working "fine" [ATM, an issue outside of 1Password, reboot should help]
So I noticed that the Beta has gone back to it's old tricks of not authenticating with TouchID if it hasn't been opened for a while. I logged in with the master password, closed it, and was going in to see if TouchID would work, and it froze after putting up the dialog. I force-quit it, and tried to go in again, only to get stuck on the opening screen. The following is the console output:

Force quitting the app and restarting it did not work. Incidentally, the release version run fine.
I deleted the Beta and reinstalled it. Ran it, went through the initial setup and sync to Dropbox without incident. Went into Settings/Security and enabled TouchID. Locked the iPhone, and unlocked it with TouchID, was stuck at the opening 1Password screen again. Similar console messages.
I rebooted the iPhone (sleep/wake + Home for 5 seconds). That allowed me to get into 1Password, but with the Master Password (no TouchID prompt). TouchID was enabled.

Hi @joetomasone,
Thanks for writing in.
So I noticed that the Beta has gone back to it's old tricks of not authenticating with TouchID if it hasn't been opened for a while.
There are errors from securityd and TouchID services but it is not clear why just yet.
I'll definitely pass these unusual errors to our developers and we'll see what we can do with it.
In the meantime, can you do the following for me:
- Open 1Password on the iPhone, unlock, and go to Settings > Advanced > Troubleshooting. Tap on "Log Settings" and then tap on all Lock options including SQlite, Database, and Keychain.
- Reproduce the problem. Then go to Settings > Advanced > Troubleshooting, tap on Email Diagnostics, change the email address to support+forum@agilebits.com, and please include my name in the title before sending it, so I can find it.
Thanks!
I rebooted the iPhone (sleep/wake + Home for 5 seconds). That allowed me to get into 1Password, but with the Master Password (no TouchID prompt). TouchID was enabled.
That's normal, device reboots will always result into the master password prompts, just like the device's TouchID/Passcode.

Of course, since I mentioned it, I can't reproduce it anymore. (Sigh)
I will advise if it happens again.

Hi @joetomasone,
Thanks for updating us on this. That's what I suspected, it seems like errors are from outside of 1Password and a possible reboot would help next time. It should get better over time as Apple continues to improve iOS 8.
