Lost ability to synch with iCloud

I synch 1Password through the cloud. I recently upgraded my iPad OS to 8. My iPhone is still OS 7. I just noticed that my devices are not synching. Is this because they are using different OS versions?

    Unfortunately, yes. The iCloud sync works differently in different versions of 1Password on both iOS versions, they're not compatible with each other. You can find out more in this FAQ.

    You do have a few options:

    1. You can switch to using Dropbox, which would work with both versions
    2. If you have a 1Password for Mac you sync with, you can use the Wi-Fi sync as welll
    3. Update the iPhone to iOS 8 if you can.
