Nonstop Sync on iOS devices

Iphone and iPad using iOS 8.0. I use dropbox to sync. The 1 password app is version 5.1. The devices are syncing every 20-30 seconds, draining the device battery. I removed and reinstalled to no avail. Any way to control sync?

There is no setting for when 1Password syncs. You can turn off background app refresh for 1Password to ease the load on your battery:
