IPad IOS - 8.02
1Password - 5.1
PC - XP

I am for testing to see if it actually works.
I can manually backup my 1password data to a thumb drive using iTunes app section, but when I select the file from the backup folder the restore from backup in 1Password settings, advanced is grayed out so I can not manually restore.

I may be wrong, but I think in iTunes if you delete the backup folder from the app section then the restore will be grayed out so how do I get the backup folder to reappear without creating another backup? I have the backup file in a folder called backup on my thumb drive.

I erased my 1Password data, but when I relaunch the app to sync an existing vault their is only iCloud, Dropbox, and Wifi. Where is sync from iTunes? How can I restore from a manual backup that 1Password created?

  • @kunder You should be able to put your backup file in a folder titled 'Backups' and then drag that file into the File Sharing section in iTunes. You should then be able to go to Settings > Advanced in 1Password on your iPad and Restore Backup will be enabled.
