1Password 5 upgrade with Dropbox sync lost all my passwords after October 2013

After upgrading to Yosemite and installing 1Password 5 from the app store, I opened my agilekeychain file from Dropbox.
All my password after October 2013 are gone.

    What's worse, it looks like 1Password 5 does not recognize backup files from 1Password 4, so I can't restore from Library ▸ Application Support ▸ 1Password ▸ Backups

    How do I get my passwords back?

    The dropbox file says it has 240 items, the last backup file has 348. It looks like the dropbox sync never worked properly in 1Password 4

    Where are the keychain files located in 1P4 and 1P5? Can I manually copy from the old location into the new location?

    I was able to recover my password by restoring the previous settings folder from:

    Library ▸ Containers ▸ 2BUAXXXXX.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper

    Sync seems to be broken with Dropbox.

    Hi, sorry your not having a good experience. Unfortunately I am not staff and can not offer much but I have read your topic and noticed a few things of interest. You mention 2 different file location formats in your above posts.

    I can't restore from Library ▸ Application Support ▸ 1Password ▸ Backups

    That is indicative of a web site version.

    Library ▸ Containers ▸ 2BUAXXXXX.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper

    This is indicative of a Mac App Store version as it is sandboxed and use the container folders.

    Sync seems to be broken with Dropbox.

    Not in my experience I have ran every beta 1Password issues and have not experienced such results. I am thinking that somewhere you had a varied set of data files.

    I am glad you are back syncing, and you recovered your passwords.
