Hello,

Prior to 1Password 5, when you exported all, the filename was well formed filename with useful information. In 1Password 5, the filename is messed up, with %'s included and the HH_MM_SS missing digits. Example:

1Password %2014-%19-%20 %5_%10_%5 (2750 items and 157 folders).1pif

Please restore the old file format as in:

1Password 2014-19-20 05_10_45 (2750 items and 157 folders).1pif

Thanks!

  • Hi @chongo,

Thanks for reporting this. I've created a case in our bug tracker to get this fixed up. I'm looking forward to seeing what changed here that would have caused that.

    Hi @rickfillion,

Thanks for putting this into the bug tracker database.

This is just a FYI that I verified: as of Version 5.0.2 (502007) this bug still exists. I.e., export filenames look like:

    1Password %2014-%10-%19 %11_%10_%3 (2757 items and 157 folders).1pif

    1Password %2014-%10-%19 %11_%11_%6 (2757 items and 157 folders).csv

    1Password %2014-%10-%19 %11_%12_%8 (2757 items and 157 folders).txt

p.s. Yes, we store a lot of passwords, and make extensive use of folders + smart folders too. Thanks for a great tool!

    Hi @chongo,

This bug fix didn't make its way into version 5.0.2, but it should hopefully be fixed in the upcoming version 5.1.

Keep an eye on the release notes, as the fix should be mentioned there. :)
