1Password 5 - MAS version reports "Trial Expired" since Yosemite upgrade [try restarting Mac]
I've seen a variety of notes here where other folks have had the same problem. I do have only one 1Password app on my machine, and have never run a beta. However, I did own 1Password 4 before the App Store version came out, so there may be some ancient license floating around on my machine.
How do I resolve this issue?

Could you please take a screenshot of the trial expired message that you're seeing? As well as the 1Password > About pane that displays your version number?
As you've likely read in the other threads, the Mac App Store version of 1Password does not offer a trial, so it's odd that it is saying that it is expired.

Can you please try restarting your Macs, and then check to see if if that solves the problem?

as I reported in another string, there was a mini 1P on an attached clone drive. once I got that ejected and restarted, all was OK for me.

I have the same problem. Screenshot looks the same as Tah Nuntasiri above. My version is 5.0.2 (502007). Have tried a restart but no joy.

Hi @SamAnderson,
Build 502007 is the AgileBits web store version, not the Mac App Store version. If you're using the web store version, it requires a license file.

Thanks for the info Jasper. I deleted the AgileBits web store version and reinstalled my purchased version from iTunes. Worked perfectly. Thanks.
