Problems under Yosemite

Safari browser extension disappeared after Yosemite upgrade. I redownloaded the Safari extension from agilebits, but it will not install. Double click it or right-click-open and nothing happens. Incidentally, mini-1Password also had to be restarted from the menu, but that had no effect on the browser extension. Browser extension in Chrome works fine.

1Password 5.0.1 Safari extensions tried versions 4.2.4 and 4.2.5b2. No luck on any.

Any ideas? Thanks.

    Hi @hochd‌,

Please make sure that you enable the 1Password Safari extension in Safari's Preferences > Extensions.

You can also look at this topic which has more details.

I hope that this helps

    Cheers!

Thanks -- it was enabled, but I think the actual issue was simpler. Looks like the icon for the menu bar changed, and also changed positions from where I had placed it previously, and I simply didn't recognize it.

    Hi @hochd‌,

    Thanks for replying so quickly!

I'm really glad that you've sorted it all out

Yes, the Browser Extension's icon has changed to match 1Password mini's new menu bar icon and the extension icon for 1Password for iOS.

I really am sorry for the confusion.

    Best,

    Rad
