No suggestions on iOS?

New user here. Just created a vault. Before plopping some cash down on 1password from the Mac store I wanted to start using it on iOS. I have it set up and enabled but I never get suggestions for websites in safari. Will it only auto fill and not suggest? Do I have to use the built in browser for it to suggest passwords?
I guess I was hoping that I wouldn't have to create items manually for logins in my vault and that maybe as I went to sites and logged in I would have the option to import that info into my vault. Is this not possible?

1Password for iOS does not have a save function like 1Password for Mac does. If you'd like to try that feature out, you can download a free trial version of 1Password for Mac here:
