App won't launch
When I try to open the app (1password3) on my iPad mini, it asks for my Apple ID and password instead of my master password that I've been using, and when I type it in, it just shuts down, I've tryed rebooting my iPad but it still won't work

Please confirm what iOS version you are running on your iPad mini. (That may not be the source of the problem but I think it's helpful for us to know it.)

Version 8.1, it did work normally until a recent update. Now when I try to open it, it asks for my apple ID and password instead of master password then crashes when I put it in

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble. 1Password 3 for iOS was designed for iOS 4. It was never intended to run on or tested for iOS 7 & 8.
If you plan to use 1Password on iOS 8 you should upgrade to 1Password 5 for iOS. You can read more about 1P5 here:
