Problems when installing extension for Google Chrome on Yosemite

When I press the big green install button, an error occurs: There was an error installing the Chrome extension. Please try again or contact us for assistance.

How can I fix this problem?

    Have you tried installing the extension directly from the Chrome Web Store?

    Hi @Megan , thanks for your advise.
    I found that it was the network error. Pity that Chinese users need to go through the GFW to get connection with Google
