Custom Fields in Password Category Not Syncing OS X -> iOS

I found several discussions here about custom fields in the Password Category not syncing to iOS, and I found AgileBits reps suggesting that a fix would be coming soon. However, that was many months ago (and a prior version of 1Password for several of the threads), and yet there seems to be no fix. I am running 5.1 on iOS 8.1 and 5.0 on OS X Yosemite, and custom fields created on the Mac are not syncing to iOS.

Is there a fix for this? If not, when is a fix coming?

    Hi there,

    The issue has not yet been addressed by our development team. They are working on fixing the problem in code and once they are able to do so there will be a testing period and then an update released.
