I can't upgrade my iPad to IOS8 because of lack of space. How can I use 1Password on it? It doesn't sync with the cloud and none of my passwords are on my iPad now.

In your case I think the best way to update is download iOS 8 on a computer and update from there. That is if you are wanting to update.

As to the syncing not working... What type of sync are you using iCloud or Dropbox, etc ?

ps As a standard safety precaution make sure and make a backup of your device before doing any update.

Its always best to make sure you are all synced up before doing the update. If you are sure your other devices have a complete copy of the data you can proceed. But if not sure always err on the side of safety. Making sure syncing is setup and or you have a backup.

    Hi @Carol Blecha Gurrad

Please let me know if @thightower's suggestion of downloading iOS 8 from a computer helped you out! I ran into the same issue with my iPad (turns out I have far too many games and books on the poor thing.)

As for syncing, if you are using iCloud, you will run into trouble trying to sync from 1Password 4 for iOS and iOS 7 to 1Password 5 for Mac and OS X 10.10 (Yosemite). This is because Apple has made some big changes to iCloud in between iOS 7/Mavericks and iOS 8/Yosemite.

If you decide to remain with 1Password 4 for iOS and iOS 7 for now, you'll need to use Dropbox to keep your device synced up between your Macs running Yosemite.

Please let us know a bit more detail about your situation. If you need help switching from iCloud to Dropbox, or if you're still having trouble viewing your data on your iPad, we're here to help!
