How do you get the 30% App Store Discount

I just purchased 1-Password via the App Store where a 30% "Launch Celebration Sale" is advertised. When I downloaded the app, I was charged the full $34.99. When I querried Apple, they told me that I had to contact Agilebits. The discussion forum intimates that getting this discount is all but impossible to get from Agilebits. Any thoughts?

The price point you paid was the 30% discounted version. The normal price for 1Password is about $49
