Can I use 1 password with an app on my IPad (say Amazon) or does it only work through my browser?
I'm not sure I understand how this works. I would like to be able to use 1 Password, but am much happier paying bills etc using the apps on my IPad instead of the browser version. Do I simply log into the 1 Password App on the IPad and it communicates with the individual apps? Many thanks

You can only use 1Password to automatically fill in credentials in apps that have added the needed code to work with the 1Password extension. There is a list of some of those that have done so on the main AgileBits web site, and the developers claim that about 100 apps have done this.
iOS 8 and 1Password 5 are required too, if those aren't already your versions.
If an app hasn't added this needed code, you can still copy and paste from 1Password to the app's login fields, but that obviously isn't as convenient.
