wifi sync not working
I set up wifi sync about two weeks ago when I upgraded and iCloud sync stopped working for me. The wifi sync initially worked fine. I happened to notice yesterday when I was updating some passwords that wifi syncing was no longer working, and had not synced since the original sync two weeks ago.
Please give me some troubleshooting tips.
Here is my set up. I have an iMac connected to the internet via ethernet with wifi also turned on. I also have an iPhone 5 and iPad Air. All OSs and software are current.
Thank you for your help.

I have that similar problem syncing between my iPhone 5S and Windows setup using wi-fi. I've found that if I do a reset on my iPhone, verify that I'm on the network, it then syncs without issue. At least without issue till the next time it will not sync. Came over here to the IOS section to see if anyone else is having the same issues and found your post. Hope that helps for now and someone will come along with a fix.

Hi @andrew02
WiFi sync is not an automatic process (i.e. You have to instruct it to sync each time you'd like to do so). You can find instructions here:
We are working on improving WiFi sync in a number of ways, and hope to be able to make the process more automated in the future.
Thanks!

Hi Ben. Thanks for replying. I could of swore I read somewhere on your site that said wifi sync works automatically when all devices are on the same network.
I will check out that link when I get a chance.

Hi @andrew02,
I read somewhere on your site that said wifi sync works automatically when all devices are on the same network.
It depends on the version of 1Password you're using on each device/computer. Wi-Fi sync should work automatically if you've set it up between 1Password 5 for iOS and 1Password 5 for Mac (you'll need to have the app open on each one, and connected to the same Wi-Fi network).
It will not sync automatically if you're using 1Password 4 for iOS, 1Password 4 for Mac, and/or 1Password 4 for Windows. Sorry for the confusion about that!

Hi,
I Have the same problem, First time syncs without issue but after that the wifi sync not working on my iPad and iPhone anymore :\
I'm using iMac, 10.9 with 1Password 4.4.3 (*and don't want to upgrade to Mac OS X 10.10)
iPhone, iPad with 1Password 5 (WIFI sync work fine only first time sync!)I have to upgrade from 1Password 3 to 1Password 4 only because I want to WiFi Sync with 1Password 5 on my iOS devices.
I really hope you (1Password Team ) can fix this WIFI Sync problem for 1Password 4 in next update soon. Thanks!

1Password 5 does require OS X 10.10, though.
And now I have to upgrade again?!!
How about 10.9 users? Can not be your customer? :\
(I hate OS X 10.10 and don't want to use it)

Yes, 1Password 5 for Mac requires Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite.

Sorry to hear that 1Password don't care customer anymore.
I'm using 1Password from the first version 1,2 and 3. And just upgraded to 1Password 4 only because of WiFi Sync reason, and now you tell me that I just buy 1Password and the Bug that will never fix!
Thanks!

Hi @IamJay
Sorry to hear that 1Password don't care customer anymore.
I can assure you that is not the case.
I'm using 1Password from the first version 1,2 and 3. And just upgraded to 1Password 4 only because of WiFi Sync reason, and now you tell me that I just buy 1Password and the Bug that will never fix!
OS X 10.10 is a free upgrade from OS X 10.9, and 1Password 5 for Mac normally would've been a paid upgrade for AgileBits, but we decided to be extra generous this time around and released it as a free upgrade.
Thanks.

Well not sure why but the way in 1P4 that I used on OS X to WiFi sync has changed. No longer do I go to Window and click on WiFi Sync. That only opens the preferences pane.
Something has changed and WiFi syncing is broken for me. Using 1Password v 5.2.1 (502105) on the iPhone and 1Password 5
Version 5.1 (510035) under Yosemite. It only syncs once every so often. I find I have to quit 1P5 on the iPhone before I can attempt a second sync.

@TonyK: I'm not sure what you mean by 'a second sync'. Is your data not syncing completely the first time?
Once you have Wi-Fi Sync setup, if 1Password is open on your Mac when you open 1Password on your iPhone, 1Password will sync automatically. If both are not connected to the same Wi-Fi network, or if there is some other connection problem, you will receive an error saying as much. You can also manually initiate a sync (1Password Settings > Sync > Sync Now).
If you can tell me the steps you're taking and what is (or is not) happening for you I would love to test this myself to see if we have a bug of some kind.
