1Password 5 won't boot on yosemite [Resolved - reinstall]

I'm getting this error.... posted below as the bug report to send to Apple.
1Password was working AOK until I updated automatically.
I've tried rebooting and removing prefs to no avail.
Any suggestions :/

    ok so looks like I've sorted this.
    I removed the app support files and prefs (explained in the user guide under "starting over")
    this didn't work.
    I then found an article about deleting the app from applications,
    emptying trash, restarting and
    installing a new copy from here.
    Did this and then replaced the files moved to my desktop in the earlier "Starting over" process.
    All back and running.
