1Password for iOS 6?
I am looking to try out 1password on my iPhone 5 running 6.1.4 (the latest ios 6 operating system). And before anyone asks, yes, I have my reasons for not updating.
Is there a way to download the latest version of 1password for iOS 6? If so, how? I tried downloading it from the app store on my phone and it didn't offer the usual option of being able to download the 'older version' compatible with iOS 6 like you see with other apps on the app store.
I noticed on the 'downloads' page on this website they have a 'legacy' downloads area for operating systems like snow leopard and others, but what about iOS 6?

The reason the app store didn't off the "older version" option is because your iPhone 5 can be updated to iOS 8.1. Apple really wants you to update to the newest iOS even though they know it will slow down on the iPhone 5 (but not as much as it does on the iPhone 4S).
As for AgileBits and legacy versions of iOS apps, Apple does not allow iOS apps to be sold/installed outside of the Apple/iOS/iTunes ecosystem.

Hi @coolblue2,
To add a bit to @romad's answer, customers who previously purchased 1Password 4 for iOS can still download it on iOS 6 or 7 devices from App Store > Updates > Purchased. But if you hadn't previously purchased version 4 for iOS, unfortunately it won't be available in the App Store.

SOLVED
Those on iOS 6 that wish to download the older version have to 'purchase' the free app on iTunes on your computer first. THEN it will allow you to download the older version on the app store on your iOS 6 device.

Thanks for sharing your solution @coolblue2 !

Does the "free" app have to be installed on the iOS 6.x device or is just purchasing it enough?

Ah, OK. Fortunately I've kept the older 1PwdiOS .ipa files. I have versions 4.2.3 through 4.3.1 if I decide to try them again.

Well, since I can't go past 1Password for Mac 3.x on my iMac, I won't go past the 1PwdiOS 3.x on my iDevices. I had too many problems back in 2013 when I did so. I'm staying with what works and 1Password for iOS 3.7.2 works perfectly on my iDevices running iOS 8.1.
BTW, was version 4.3.1 the last iOS version released before 5.0?

@romad, if you use 1Password 3 for Mac and 1Password 4 or 5 for iOS, you can sync them via Dropbox sync. But it's no problem if you want to continue using version 3 for both Mac and iOS, and you can use Wi-Fi sync.
BTW, was version 4.3.1 the last iOS version released before 5.0?
Actually, version 4.5.3 was the last iOS version before we released version 5 (version 4.5.x required iOS 7). The last version to support iOS 6 was 4.3.2.
