Migrating from 1Password web store version to 1Password Mac Store version
I'd like to purchase Mac Store version of 1Password to take advantage of the new iCloud syncing. I'm currently using the Web Store version and I'm not happy about the limitations with wifi syncing (having to open the iOS app each time to sync) so I'm willing to purchase the new version on the Mac Store. Are instructions available for how to migrate my password vault from the web store version of 1Password (V5) I use now to the new Mac Store version? I'm hoping this is a seemless migration and all I have to do is download Mac Store version and it will automatically detect my existing password vault? Is this too much to hope for?

Instructions to merge to the MAS version are available in the Knowledge Base

I notice the instructions given above show "Uninstall the Web Store version of 1Password" as the last step. But there is no mention of deleting the ~/Library/Application Support/1Password 4/ folder and files which are used by the Web Store version but not the MAS version, which uses Containers.
Is this deliberate?
Personally I don't like have two sets of the "same" data on my computers in different places and with different dates. So when I was confident the MAS version was up and running I would delete the webstore App Support folder, or quarantine it on a backup drive where it would not cause any confusion.

Hi @mikebore
That is all well and good for more advanced users, but we steer away from giving instructions to everyone to delete support folders.
Thanks!
