1Password Safari extension code signature broken in 4.2.5
Following an (automatic) upgrade from 4.2.4 Safari plugin to 4.2.5 the autofill item in web browser is broken. Error message: "Cannot fill item in Web Browser - web browser is connected by its code signature could no be verified".
I have another Mac running the same OS (10.9.2) and Safari (7.0.2 (9537.74.9)) which runs extension 4.2.4 with autofill perfectly. So I'm pointing the finger at the 4.2.5 upgrade.
Since I have no interest in upsetting a very stable multi-machine 10.9.x environment with v4xx iPassword (at least until 10.10.2+) I won't be 'upgrading' either OS or 1Password just yet. In a business mission-critical environment stability is everything: the latest bells and whistles are not. So I need to know how to fix this or revert back to 4.2.4 pronto. There's a work around, but it's annoying when a so-called upgrade breaks something crucial.
Thanks, Matt (From Australia)

Hi Matt ( @cruisingyacht ),
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble here. I'd like to take a closer look at your system to get a better idea of where things are getting tangled up.
I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your Mac:
https://guides.agilebits.com/kb/1password4/en/topic/diagnostics-report#mac4Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@agilebits.com
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
A short note here once you've sent the Report in will help us to keep an eye out for it. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!

Thanks Megan, I have mailed you the diagnostics file. As mentioned in my email, I have unchecked the option in preferences / advanced / verify browser code signature and this 'workaround' has fixed the issue. I look forward to hearing more from you. Thanks Matt.

Hi @cruisingyacht,
We've received your Diagnostics Report - thanks for sending it in! I'm glad to hear that you found a 'workaround'. Hopefully our technical gurus are able to detect where things got tangled in the first place so we can prevent it from happening again.
I've updated the email thread with the necessary details from this forum discussion so that it is easier for our support team to get up to speed with the issue. Someone from the support team will get back to you as soon as possible with some further information. We'll keep the conversation going directly via email to avoid complicating things between here and there. :)
