Password Change not working with AMEX
Password change works flawless except when American Express is involved... Tried several times and need to revert back to original password every time. .
Followed instructions exactly and the process works with all other Logins but not this one. Yosemite on MacBook Pro..
Any ideas that might work is appreciated....

Hi @nevadaharv and @MrC,
I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble here. I'll just need a bit of clarification in order to track this down.
- Is 1Password filling incorrectly on the Amex password change page?
- Is the new password that you have generated not saved correctly in your Login entry?
If you could provide a bit more detail on the steps that you're taking, and where things are getting tangled up, we should be able to track this down and get 1Password behaving properly for you.

When you try to update your password via AmEx's Profile page, by clicking on the pencil icon to change your password in Security Credentials section, the next page has three fields, an old password field and two new password fields. When using Password Generator in Firefox's browser extension, the new password is filled, but there is no request to update / replace the old password. The new entry remains in the Passwords category. So you have to manually copy that password.
However, if you now Logout of the AmEx site, and then re-login by entering your Username and copy/pasting the generated password saved in the Passwords category, then the New/Update dialog appears, where Update will move the generated password into the existing AmEx login record.
