Hi, I installed the 1 Password update and lost 100+ entries on my MAC. I tried repeatedly to sync my iPhone with the Mac using Dropbox, iCloud and wifi and none works.

Please advise thanks

Is there a moderator that can help with this very frustrating problem - basically 1Password is not working

Hi @kunda‌ Could you post some more details please. What version of 1Password are you currently running and where did you purchase it from? Was the update just a minor one or were you making a transition from a much older copy? Any details you can supply will help. If you're running 1Password 4 or newer it does make backups which are accessible via the preferences and the Backup tab. You could pick the newest backup and restore that for example, assuming you were confident that there weren't any important changes made since the timestamp of that backup.

We will help you as best we can to get this all sorted out.

Version 5 - I recently received an update notification which I followed and the problem started with install of the update on my MAC. The original was purchased from 1 Password.

I have a copy not sure which on Dropbox. I do not know where the backup is located.

The original passwords are still on my iPhone but over 100 have been lost on my MAC.

OK I have found the Restore and tried it twice. Nothing happens.

@kunda Why you say you've tried it twice can you talk me through what you've done please. You selected one of the backups from the list (the newest I'm assuming) and you restored it. 1Password should shut down at that point and then you manually launch it again. At that point there are still no visible entries? when you say you've done this twice is it twice with the newest backup or once for the two newest backups?

Yes, and I manually launched it but the same 34 items are there - no change. I have some 200 on my iPhone and iPad which have disappeared from my desktop and syncing using all three methods is not working

    @kunda‌

I'd like to ask you to create some Diagnostics Reports, one from each of your devices.

    —Mac—
    https://guides.agilebits.com/kb/1password4/en/topic/diagnostics-report#mac4

    —iOS—
    https://guides.agilebits.com/kb/1password4/en/topic/diagnostics-report#ios4

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@agilebits.com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

A short note here once you've sent the Report in will help us to keep an eye out for it. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!

@kunda‌ I'm struggling to find your emailed diagnostic reports, can you do me a favour please and message me here on the forums with the email address you sent both of the reports from. As soon as I can locate the reports I'll get onto it. Sorry for the delay.
