5.0.2 update and Dropbox sync problem [Resolved]

I have just updated to 5.0.2 for Mac from the Appstore and on first use I was warned that I need to set my sync preferences, which have always been set to Dropbox. Nothing was selected under Sync. I clicked on Dropbox and pointed to its folder. Now I have two 1Password.agilekeychain files, the old one (10 MB) and another one inside a newly created 1Password folder (448 KB). Do I just leave both there? I am reluctant to open my other devices for syncing. OS X 10.10.
Thanks
George

  • Hi @George_P‌

If you look in 1Password under Preferences > Sync you can see the path to the keychain file that 1Password is actively syncing with. It should look something like:

    Username > Dropbox > 1Password > 1Password.agilekeychain

This is the keychain that all of your other devices should be set to sync with as well.

Once everything is on the same page and you are sure sync is working you can backup and remove the other Agile Keychain file from Dropbox.

    Thanks!

Thanks bwoodruff, its OK now. All devices were originally set to Username > Dropbox >1Password.agilekeychain, without a 1Password folder.
