Entries in Trash??!!
Hi,
I've noticed that some of my entries, especially credit cards, are randomly, arbitrarily, and automatically moved into the Trash.
I definitely did not delete these entries manually.
What's going on?

Hi Anthony,
I can't say I've heard any other reports like this. To get a better idea of what is going on... Can you please tell me:
- Are you syncing your 1Password data with other devices?
- If so what sync method are you using?
- What version of the application do you have on each device?
Thanks.
Ben

I just had this same issue. Nearly a quarter of my entries, including credit cards, software licenses and notes were in the trash. I manually clicked the "Restore" button on each one (over 100 times). Any way to prevent this in the future?
- Syncing with iPad, Android phone
- using Dropbox
- mac version 5.3, Android: 1.8.5.2, iOS: 5.4

Hi @dysprositos and @Anthony Clark,
We don't have a solution to prevent this happening in the future simply because at the moment we don't understand what is happening. What might help reduce the repair time is depending on when the last automated back was created, you may be able to restore a backup. The easiest way to tell would probably be to order your vault by Date Modified (this page on Item List has more on this). If the most recently modified item is older than your newest backup (I hope that made sense) then you might be able to restore a backup and undo all the deletions that may have happened in a sync. You'd want to be careful though as restoring a backup undos all actions that happened after the backup.
Along with what you've already told us a diagnostic report may prove useful to review, especially if this happened recently.
I would like you to create the following Diagnostic Reports, one for each of the following that you currently sync.
- For 1Password on your Mac
- For 1Password on your iOS device
- For 1Password on your Windows PC
- For 1Password on your Android device
Then attach everything to an email to us: support+ forum@agilebits.com
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
Once you've sent the Report a post here with the ticket ID will help us to keep an eye out for it. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
