Since I installed Yosemite 1Password does not work anymore
I just installed Yosemite (always worried about system changes when there is no need ... and rightly so).
I had 1Password4 installed. I am pretty sure that after the installation it worked a couple of times (through the chrome browser extension at least). But suddenly it stopped working and since then the 1 Password 4 Alias in my dock has been replaced by a questionmark:
So I googled for the latest 1Password version and downloaded version 5.0.2 from your website. But I can't start it. Everytime I try to run it, this message shows up:
roughly translates to:
"1 Password 5 cannot not be opened due to a problem
Please contact your developer to ensure that 1 Password 5 is compatible to with the current version of OS X. Probably you have to install the program anew. Make sure that you have a necessary updates for the program and OS X."
What does that mean? Is 1Password not compatible to Yosemite???

Hi @Max Franke
I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble with 1Password. Of course, version 5 is compatible with Yosemite. In fact, it was designed for Yosemite, so it should be working wonderfully for you!
Let's see what we can do to get things back up to speed. First, I just need to confirm: did you originally purchase 1Password from our website, or from the Mac App Store?

I am experiencing the exact same problem. After the update the program stopped to run and I am getting a similar message.

Sorry for the trouble! Could you please try re-installing the app:
- Open your Applications folder
- Locate the 1Password 5.app in the list
Drag it to the trash can.
- Please don't use any uninstaller applications, these may remove more than just the application, such as your data. We do not recommend that. We only want to remove the application, none of the extra items.
After dragging it to the trash, please empty your trash, then restart your computer.
- After the reboot, please download a fresh copy of 1Password 5 from here: https://agilebits.com/downloads
- Once downloaded, unzip if necessary and drag it to the Applications folder. Then double click to run it.
Please let me know if it helps. :)
