1PW contextual menu items in Finder
I'm not sure why but I don't get them since the upgrade to version 5. Actually I got them back on my Macbook Pro 9,2 by simply reinstalling the app. is there a preference setting I'm missing somewhere? I just tried the reinstall method on my old Mac Pro 2,1 tower (OS X 10.10 as well, with the EFI hack) but still no contextual menu items in the Finder. I saw threads here about contextual menu items not working in various browsers but nothing like what I'm experiencing. I'm talking about the Share Dropbox Link, View on Dropbox.com and View Previous Versions items in the Finder contextual menu when browsing the Dropbox folder. Hey, is it something to do with the Dropbox folder being on another drive on this machine?
Thanks in advance for any help. Unless it's just a preference setting and I end up looking like an idiot ;-)

Hi @humann,
I'm not sure where you've seen context menus for 1Password in Finder; that's news to me. :)
There is a 1Password item in the context menu of browsers that have the extension enabled, e.g. in Chrome:
Selecting it will open 1Password mini.
Actually I got them back on my Macbook Pro 9,2 by simply reinstalling the app.
Can you post a screenshot of that?
If 1Password is/was lurking somewhere in Finder context menus, what do you use it for?

I'm so sorry I never saw this post. I'm not on my own computer right now (trying to upgrade 1password for a friend who never used it after I installed version 4 a while back) but when I get home I'll post a screen grab of what the menu items look like. They're super cool when they do show up btw, with little Dropbox icons and everything. They are, from memory: Share, Copy Link and um, the one I never use. Will add correct data and an image by the end of the weekend.

Hi @humann,
Please do! My test machine has 1Password 3-5 for troubleshooting purposes and I'm unsure what you're referring to. There is a Share option if you right click on an item from within the main 1Password window as well as Copy Password but I get the feeling that isn't what you're referring to.

ach, I'm truly an idiot twice here. for my first post because I was actually asking about Dropbox's contextual menu items and for my second post because I didn't see what I'd done wrong there even 6 months later. very sorry for wasting anyone's time who read this; there are obviously no 1password contextual menu items except for the one that sjk (who works for AgileBits of course and ought to know) posted in his initial reply. I really need to spend more time thinking about what I'm posting before I hit that Send button.

Hi @humann As long as the query comes to a good resolution and people feel more knowledgable at the end then it's all good
