1password PIN code and Master Password

Hi

I've got an issue (which you say you have fixed in yesterday's update) where I enter the 4 digit PIN code and then get a screen asking for the Master Password.

This happens both on an iPhone 5 and also an iPad.

So, I don't think that issue is fixed.

One other thing - syncing. Is it possible to have some sort of visible progress bar to show 1Password is syncing It seems to me that it is virtually impossible to see the status of the sync without one - and I think that would be useful

  • Thanks for the report @watermaster‌. It's possible that you're still seeing the effects of the bug from version 5.1.1. Please try this:

    1. Within 1Password disable PIN Code unlock from Settings > Security
    2. Reboot your device.
    3. Reopen 1Password and reenable PIN Code unlock.

    Try that out and see if it makes a difference.

    We have considered adding some sort of progress indicator to the sync status, but haven't moved forward with any designs for it. For now you can tap on Settings > Sync to see if a sync is taking place or not.

    Thank you - that seems to have fixed it.. Shame about the progress bar - my 1password sometimes seems to take ages to sync and I worry that it hasn't done it - or isn't doing it! Thanks for your help.
