Has there been a solution for this yet? I am trying to purchase the pro version, and have tried all the fixes in this post but nothing is working.

I found a workaround. I was trying to purchase pro on my iPhone. Eventually I tried it from my iPad and it worked perfectly immediately. I then deleted the app off my iPhone and then re downloaded it and when I opened it and synced it the pro version was purchased. So, if you have an iPad and buying the pro version from your phone isn't working just try buying the pro version from your iPad instead.

Hi @breakrock, welcome to the forums!

I'm really happy to hear you were able to find a workaround for that - thanks so much for taking the time to let us know!

I will certainly let our developers know about that in case it helps. If you get a chance, could you let us know the exact problem you were having when trying to purchase Pro Features from your iPhone? There seem to be a few different errors people have reported, so it will be helpful to know which message you were getting. Thanks!

I was getting the same issue that @naar had. When I put in a wrong password it says that the username or the password is wrong, but when I put the correct password it says that the User id couldn't be found.

    Hi @breakrock,

Thanks so much for confirming that - I'll pass those details along to our developers.

I have had the same issue as well and can verify that these troubleshooting methods are NOT working:
    1. Reinstalling the App
    2. Restoring the phone (Both as a new iPhone or as a restore from backup)
In addition to those above, I also made sure numerous time that I used the correct Apple ID and password sequence. I was able to download an app and then enter the same username and password again minutes later for it only to fail on 1Passwords attempt to buy the pro version on the iPhone within the app itself.
So lets talk about what does work:
    1. Backing up the data to iCloud or to Dropbox then deleting the app of of the iPhone.
    2. Getting my trusty iPad Mini and installing the app on that.
    3. Making the 1Password Pro purchase on that.
    4. Entering the same Apple ID and Password that the non Pro version app was purchased with
    5. BOOM! It purchases it without a hitch.
Now I can then go to my iPhone and download it again and it works fine as the full 1Password Pro version.
I know the folks that read this forum are not developers or software engineers. I am a software engineer and I can tell you it seems to be an issue with the In App Purchase authentication to the Apple Store mainly on iPhones. I have a 6 plus. Is it only targeting 6's or 5's and 5S's? This is something I think should be resolved at this point. Going back on this thread it's just going into two months old of an issue. I can tell you I have futzed less with far less expensive apps. For $10 there should be an expedited solution to this problem. How many people get that error and then walk away from this purchase due to it appearing "broken"? That's 10 bucks a pop you are losing by not fixing this issue. In my perspective as a software engineer, this workaround is not acceptable.

    Hi @applegrrl,

While in-app purchases are not new, they are still fairly new to us. Originally we were not logging enough information making diagnosis nearly impossible. That changes in a recent update where we can now log more information to help the developers figure out why it isn't working for some people. We don't know why some devices are reporting they cannot connect to the iTunes store but it is still very much under investigation.
