Using iOS 8.1 and 1Password to attempt to fill login form at https://customer.sandiego.gov/bdisu/public/frameset_top_html.jsp. But, after selecting my login details no data is pasted into the form fields. First time for this disappointing experience.

    Hi @dapster,

The problem is that the fields on that site are contained inside a frame, and unfortunately the iOS app cannot fill data into fields within frames. This is currently a limitation of iOS in general.

If there is a mobile version of that site, you could try that. Otherwise, you would need to copy and paste your username & password from the Login item (tap the username or password and choose Copy).

I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you about that, but hopefully this helps to explain what's going on.

    Drew_AG,

Thank you. Your post does, in fact, help to explain what's going on. What do you think the short time future might hold?

    Hi @dapster,

What do you think the short time future might hold?

Well, it really depends on whether filling fields within frames becomes possible on iOS (as I mentioned, it's a current limitation of iOS in general, not specifically 1Password). I'm not aware of any way to work around that limitation, but I'm sure our developers have looked into it. If there's something we can do from our end to make this easier, I'm sure our devs will seriously consider it. Otherwise, hopefully this is something that will be improved in iOS.
