Can't see secure note uploaded documents

Hi all,
Newbie to 1password so please be gentle!
I have 1password 4 (Vers 4.4.3 on iMac and iOS 5.1.2 on iPhone 6) with pro features. All looking really good except as follows: in secure notes i have tried to use the attachment feature on both pdf and jpg files, by both selecting and dragging. All documents appear fine on the iMac, but i only get a greyed out title when i try to access the secure note on my iPhone. I am using wifi syncing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as not being able to access these documents on the iPhone sort of defeats the purpose of having purchased pro features.

    Wifi sync of attachments was not supported in 1P4 on the Mac, but is supported in 1P5 on the Mac. However, you can upgrade from 1P4 for Mac to 1P5 for Mac (free upgrade) only if you're running Yosemite on your Mac.
