Odd & wrong behaviour storing ID & Password login

Hi, I was an early adopter of 1password, it is now on 2 mac & several iDevices of my own. But I'm totally lost in using it now ( on 10.9.5/ 10.10.1/ ios 8.1)
Nothing works as expected. I mean NO new (or old) items stored in 1password is working later, either the password is missing, or the username or the mail adress. I really need help. Bro. I can't go further like that. Please if a French "helper" is around you, tell him/her about my request. Something is probably wrong in my settings. But what exactly? All websites are concerned afaik. Issues with 1password app/ 1password mini/ and the iOs side. the plugin in firefox ? :'(

Can we please take things slowly? :) Let us deal only with the Macs on this forum. When we understand what the problem is there we can look at the iOS devices.

This is what I understand so far (ignoring the iOS devices):

1. You have two Macs—one is running OS X 10.9.5 with 1P4. The other is running OS X 10.10.1 with 1P5. Is that correct?
2. You bought 1P4 and 1P5 from the Mac App Store and have not installed any version directly from the AgileBits web store. Is that correct?
3. On each Mac have you installed the Firefox 1P extension (you can check by going, in Firefox, to Tools > Add ons—or the French equivalent!)?

When you have confirmed that please tell us exactly what does not work for you on each Mac.

If it is difficult to explain in English please use English and French as necessary! Some of us speak a little French but English is helpful too.

• that's right a 10.9.5 mac system with 1P 443 (download @agilebits I think and installed over the mac app store one) ( Is it possible ?)
• I also changed, if I remember well the backup from icloud to Dropbox

Don't post any diagnostic report here in the forums. Wait for AgileBits to ask for one. It sounds to me as though your system may be a little confused by the various downloads so I'd wait for someone from AgileBits to add to this thread. They may well ask you to send a diagnostic report to them.

Thanks Stephen. I'll wait. I'm going to delete most of the app files and install it again. But the issues were the fields not matching between 1P and most of website's login page. Not sure about the issue about sync between iOs and MacOs.
Edit: Sorry I forgot I can't download the previous version with Mac App Store.

Hi @Alain_55‌

It's best to approach this one item at a time.

Given you've posted that you were going to delete programs and install stuff again I feel we need to know where we currently stand.

On each machine do the following.
Looking in your /Applications/ folder what do you see in terms of 1Password? do you have programs titled both 1Password and either 1Password 4 or 1Password 5 or is there a 1Password folder present?

If you have a single instance of 1Password on your machine does it load correctly and does it seem to contain a copy of your vault?

If you have two copies of 1Password, open them one at a time and see if one seems to contain your vault while the other doesn't. When quitting each one use ⌃⌘Q to quit both 1Password and 1Password mini. For the one that contains your vault look under 1Password > About 1Password to see which version it is. It will either say Mac App Store or Agile Web Store under the version number.

Report back for us with that per machine and we will take it from there.

All seems ok today !!!! Yesterday my system disk was full... I have to test with some websites and sync (not via iCloud)

Finally it depends on some websites that are using different fields between the suscribe time and the login time or even, different ways to login. Nothing that Agilebits can deal with.

Hi @Alain_55‌ They say there is more than one way to skin a cat (I don't know why the poor cat is being picked on here) but that's an understatement when it comes to various ways to build something as simple sounding as a login page. Some developers seem to get very creative there. Of course we're always trying to improve how we interact with login pages so if you find one that doesn't work please do let us know and post the URL so we can take a peek.
