Can't get new 1P5 download to work
A couple of days ago I purchased 1P5 from the Agilebits store. But reading that I couldn't sync with iCloud drive unless I purchased from the Apple store, I decided to request a refund (allowed under 30 days) and then download the App Store version--which I did.
I then quit my Agile version, and then opened up the Apple version and went through the startup screens. When the new version closed it naturally asked for my password (which I left unchanged). So I entered my same password -- and it worked and opened--but for only 3 seconds and then closed! No matter what I do I can't keep the new app opened longer than a few seconds.
I know I should likely delete some preference files, but I don't want to do that without knowing which ones and what to expect.
Thanks,
Reed

One more thing. I noticed that the license for my 1P5 resides in a folder in my user library. And this very license was put there when I purchased the Agilebits 1P5, yesterday on the 18th, But the interesting thing is that when today I switched to the new Apple Store version, The new app apparently didn't replace yesterday's license, or add a new license to the folder, but seems to have merely upgraded that the Agilebits license upon installation of the new 1P5. I would have thought there should be a separate license.

Does this knowledge base article about migrating to the Mac App Store version help at all? Even though it refers to migrating from the beta you are effectively doing the same thing because the beta is an AgileBits store version.

Hi @Glaucon11
Let us know if Stephen_C's suggestion got you up and running (or not).
I just thought I'd explain some of the difference's you've observed. 1Password 5 (MAS) doesn't have a licence because all MAS purchases are authenticated against your Apple ID. As we don't have their system to work with we use licence files to achieve the same goal. Even if the MAS version did use a licence in that sense you wouldn't find it alongside the one for the web store version as the two versions store all of their support files in very different locations - another difference when a program comes from Apple's Mac App Store.
Hopefully you're up and running again but if not let us know.
