1PW on iPad and iPhone Used to Sync, but no more
A Looooong time ago I used to sync my 1Password apps between my iPad and iPhone versions of the app. I've updated the OS and all kinds of apps and I have constantly updated and changed passwords using the iPad version. The iPhone version has always been for simply retrieving passwords when I'm out somewhere and I don't have my iPad.
Today I tried to reestablish syncing and I connected them both to my Dropbox. Unfortunately I got a message during this process that the 1Password app suggested to NOT merge the 2 databases because they're too different.
I don't want to lose any password data and I'm fine if my iPad 1Password file overwrites my iPhone 1Password, but I don't know how to tell the apps to do this and be certain to not damage my files.

Hi @lklbkr
To have the iPad overwrite the iPhone, please uninstall the iOS app from the iPhone and reinstall it. Move the Agile Keychain file out of Dropbox (e.x. onto your desktop). Then set up syncing (first on the iPad, then on the iPhone). If all goes well, you can delete the Agile Keychain file that you moved from Dropbox.
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply, but I believe I have to move away from 1Password at this point. While THIS question was non-critical, and it only took 3 days for a reply, I don't think it would be wise to rely on any piece of software that uses a forum as the ONLY customer service path.

Hi @lklbkr
We answer customer support inquiries here, by email (support at agilebits dot com), on Facebook, on Twitter, etc. We're encouraging folks to ask their questions here currently as the response times are better than they are with email at the moment, and here we're able to help multiple customers with a single post, vs only helping at most one person with an email.
Thanks.
