Irritating problem on iPad: when returning to app, only allows two characters of password

Latest version of 1password on iPad, latest iOS 8, iPad Air.

When I return to 1password (i.e., app was previously open), I get the Enter Master Password prompt, but am allowed to enter only two characters of the password.

I can work around it by killing the app and restarting, then everything works.

This is a pure guess, but are you using the iPad in landscape orientation? If so, try using it in portrait orientation when you type your master password.

    Hi @jack4abits‌

Please let me know if Stephen_C's suggestion helps at all! If not, I'd love to know the version number of 1Password that you're currently using, so we can better test this issue on our end.

Yes, in landscape. I'll try portrait next time, but I very rarely use the iPad in portrait.

So you are acknowledging a landscape bug with portrait as workaround, correct? Having it not work in landscape is definitely a problem for me ...

Use in portrait orientation is, as I understand it, a work around for a bug in iOS not a bug in 1P.
