trial expired
Hi - paid for update in Aug. Have my key (but not the cute little gold file shown on JasperP's post) . But now I am getting a 30 trial expiration error message. When I try to enter my key it asks me to download the 1password5 software again and does not link to key file. So I am not getting anywhere. Too bad I can't just enter the key in the preferences. I do suspect my troubles stated when I upgraded to OSX10.

I assume when you refer to JasperP's post you are referring to this sticky at the top of the forum.
I am, however, confused by your reference to a "key". There are only two references to a "key" in the linked sticky, including this:
A version 3 license key cannot be used to license 1Password 5. If you only own a version 3 license, you will need to upgrade if you wish to use version 5.
Forgive me for asking, but are you quite sure you paid for an upgrade from 1P3 to 1P4? (The 1P4 licence file will work with 1P5.)

I don't for a moment disbelieve you. Does this post cast any light on the matter (in particular the bit about Gmail)?
If so, I'll ping someone from AgileBits to come along and help you because I don't have the relevant access to do so.

That seems pretty similar to my problems. 1) In that post, one person was able to go to the "customer center" to get the license but I dont see a customer center on their web site. 2) I use gmail 3) I worry I might have more than one entry in their data base as today I got resent receipts for 2 of my purchases (1password3 and 1password for windows) but not the one on 8/6 for a family license for 1password4.
